Watford 10k Charity Fun Run

Entry forms were sent out at the end of February to 1200 runners who entered the 2007 race. Another 1200 entry forms will go out this week to runners who entered in previous years. An influx of entries is now expected so please enter at your earliest convenience to ensure your place in the race. Over 100 entries were received online during the first days that entry was available online so please either send in your entry and cheque or better still use our online entry at Runners World.

Many thanks to Mail Boxes Etc on St Albans Road for doing all our printing, to Baker Tilly for stuffing envelopes and to Matthew Arnold & Baldwin for sending them all. We really do appreciate your efforts on behalf of all the local charities who benefit.

The “Knights” of Watford Round Table were in Cassiobury Park to launch this years Watford 10k Charity Fun Run.

The “Knights” were joined by our race sponsors - Clydesdale Bank, Matthew Arnold & Baldwin and Baker Tilley who donate their time and resources to make sure the event is a success.

Race promoter Daniel Scott said “We are determined to make this years Watford 10K bigger and better than ever and are grateful to the sponsors for their continued support. We are determined to raise as much money for local charities as possible and in particular Watford Mencap with whom we have a long standing association going back many years.”

The race is open to all abilities and will take place in Cassiobury Park on May 5th (Bank Holiday Monday) .There will also be 1k and 3k fun runs for children and teenagers.
